With a vision to quickly enter the sector and capture as much share as possible, in both the private and commercial markets, Gippsland Skylights initially engaged Media Fox to help with Brand Strategy and Identity. As the project developed, the need for a custom website increased the scope of the project.
The brand specialises in custom skylights, as well as stocking established and trusted brands in Velux and Solatube. Being a Gippsland Solar company, Gippsland Skylights needed to respect and build upon its sister-company values whilst maintaining its own identity, and separate value propositions.
The Media Fox creative team conducted extensive market and product research before clearly identifying the brands’ multiple value propositions and clearly articulating the many benefits that skylights offer – from natural light to health benefits.
The simple, bold and modern (or ‘vogue’ as its been described) Visual Identity was inspired by air and light, with a contemporary design flair – to help position the brand and its products as both an emotional, and rational choice for homeowners. The Identity, and concise value propositions seamlessly connect through all the printed brand collateral and website – with a quick and easy online quote request process.
